Why I’m thankful . . . the 4 Fs!

The holidays are such a busy time.

This week you might be traveling to visit family, preparing your home to host loved ones, or getting ready to brave the crowds and the cold for those Black Friday deals.  In the midst of it all, sometimes it’s hard to even remember why we’re celebrating.

Before the rush begins, I’m taking a moment to share my Thanksgiving List.  This year I have 4 Fs that stand out.

Family – When I think of family, I think of my parents, my siblings (yes, all 6 of them!), my children, my sons-and-daughter-in-law, my grandkids, along with my aunts, uncles, and cousins.  I’m blessed with many family members, and I’m grateful for the lifelong influence of each one.

Friends – I’m also blessed with the gift of countless friends all around the world, beginning with you.  I’m so thankful for your encouragement, collaboration, and inspiration.

Freedom – As an American, I’m especially thankful for the freedoms our country affords.  Particularly the unlimited opportunities available to each of us.

Faith – Most of all, I’m grateful for the gift of faith in God.  He is the ultimate source of thankfulness and the provider of everything to be thankful for!

I encourage you, before your holiday begins, to take a moment and consider everything you have to be thankful for.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving . . . and enjoy the turkey!

Your thankful friend,

20transparent

PS:   I’d love to know what you’re grateful for this year.  Please send a note so I can join you in giving thanks!
