Why do you do what you do?

babyOne of the biggest ‘whys’ in my life is family.  I am truly fortunate and richly blessed to have a healthy, growing family to live life with.  Watching my family grow is one of the great joys of my life.

I was reminded of this recently when my youngest grandchild, Preston, celebrated his first birthday.  His mom really knows how to throw a party!

It was great, as always, to have our family together and to be with Monica & Jon and their friends to celebrate Preston’s big day.

The past year of watching him grow and develop reminds me of the challenges we all encounter.  It also reminds me of the sheer happiness that  comes with these changes.

Thanks, Preston, for reminding me of the importance of family.  Here’s wishing you many more moments of celebration as you grow up.  I’m thankful I get to watch you from a front-row seat!

Has something occurred recently to remind you of why you do what you do?  I hope so, and if you’re so inclined, please drop me a line.  I’d love to hear your answer to one of the big “why?” questions

Your friend,

20transparent
