WAY beyond goal – what a story!

Monday night, I attended KLIFE‘s Victory Celebration as they announced the success of their “Fortify Tomorrow” campaign. What a great night! 

Their ambitious campaign goal of $3 million
was blown out of the water!

At the end of February they were still about $400,000 short and the pressure was on. For a little while, anyway. That is until the night of their annual fundraising banquet when they raised nearly $200,000 – a new KLIFE record! (Their previous high for the event was about $70K.)

But Mark and Michele Robertson, the unrelenting campaign Co-chairs, didn’t stop there. They led their volunteer team to do what others thought couldn’t be done. Eventually they surpassed the goal and have raised gifts and pledges of almost $3.2 million!

And they’re not done yet!

I’ve been involved with lots of campaigns over the years, but this was unlike any other. Michele and Mark demonstrated the finest leadership qualities of any campaign chair I’ve worked with!

Please join me in congratulating KLIFE on their dramatic success. What they did is remarkable,
and they’ll continue to raise funds for new features that seemed impossible when the campaign began.

In my book, this is a great example of champions at work. Congratulations!
