I’ve already contributed . . . will you join me?

Last year, I had the privilege of meeting Rev. Sebastian Ombima at church one Sunday. Sebastian is the founder of Charity Centre Kenya, an organization that operates two orphanages in Kenya and also is working on several other projects in the country. In addition to running the organization, Sebastian is a pastor and has a passion for teaching others to preach and minister to the people of Kenya. He also plants churches all over the country of Kenya, and he has a pretty great singing voice, too!

After meeting him at church, I asked if we could get together to further discuss ways I might be able to help his ministry. Each time I talk with Sebastian I am struck by his heart for these orphans and his love for the Kenyan people. I decided to sponsor a child through the Charity Centre Kenya organization, and today, I encourage you to consider sponsoring a child of your own.

$35 a month provides food and other essential items to a child in one of these orphanages. Additionally, you can contribute a one-time gift that goes towards other projects of Charity Centre Kenya.

I can tell you from personal experience that sponsoring a child will be a truly rewarding and worthwhile experience.  As you look for ways you can exercise your philanthropy this year, please consider joining me in contributing to Sebastian’s vision for Kenya.

Your friend,
