How do they make these big decisions?

Do donors make big gift decisions alone?  Sometimes yes.  Sometimes no.  Often a spouse, family member, business partner, trusted adviser, or others need to be consulted first.  As a fundraiser, how would you know?

I’m sure it comes as no surprise for me to suggest that you . . . ask.

Step 9 is Asking About Deciding.  The question I pose in today’s video allows you to get an idea of the process your donor goes through in making decisions of this magnitude.

This question helps you understand if others will play a role in making the gift decision.  You’ll be able to bring them into the process before you get to the last step.

Speaking of the last step, in the next video we’ll cover Step 10 and close out this series.  You may be surprised at the question.

Find out after Thanksgiving.

Until then,

20transparent
