Should we try to emulate the Ice Bucket Challenge?
As of September 10, the ALS Association reports that it has raised $111.6 million from the Ice Bucket Challenge, which was started in July by a 29-year old ALS patient who used social media to help drive awareness of the campaign. The challenge has gone viral and the outpouring of support has been nothing short of awe inspiring, particularly for ALS patients seeking hope of a cure.
